What is Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination is a treatment which sets the brow hairs into a shape to create the appearance of fuller, fluffy brows. The treatment lasts 6 to 8 weeks (the lifecycle of your brow hairs).
Brow Lamination is a great for thin brows, messy brows or for anyone that wants thicker, uniform brows.
Brow Lamination can be done using a perming solution or a keratin treatment. At Always Elegant we use a vegan friendly keratin treatment which contains no thioglycolate. This is better for your skin and your brows than using a perming solution. The brow hairs stay nourished and supple throughout the life of the brow lamination, giving you a better performing brow lamination. Perming solutions can be a little drying on hair and has the potential to irritate skin.
Try before you buy
If you are considering brow tattooing , brow lamination can offer you a temporary sneak peek into what it would be like with thicker brows, often creating a similar look to brows that have been tattooed with hair strokes whether microblading or nano strokes (feathering) using a digital machine.
- Looks like microbladed brows
- Gives the appearance of a thick full brow even for the thinnest of brows
- At Always Elegant we use a vegan friendly keratin – thioglycolate free. Better for your skin and better for your brows over the life time of the treatment
How to take care of your Brow Lamination
Brow Lamination is similar to a Lash Lift in that you need to keep it dry for the first 24 hours following getting it done and to avoid using any makeup or products on the brows. After the first 24 hours you are good to go! You can get your brows wet, wear brow makeup and use your skincare products.
To maintain the shape, brush with a mascara spoolie daily. We will provide you with one in your aftercare kit.
