Sara Mesa from Married at First Sight with a Brow Lamination

Get the Look for Less than $5

If you love a brow lamination but are having to squeeze your budget further with the cost of living crisis, here is a gentle and affordable way to create a brow lamination look for less than $5. You can also use this method to extend the life of your brow lamination as it begins to grow out.

I got this beauty tip from one of my clients who works for a major high-end beauty brand. Despite having access to all the top products she always returns to this method. Why? She says it’s because it’s gentle on the skin, it creates a beautiful brow shape and its stays in place all day. Her secret? Pears Soap.

Pears Soap can be used as a gentle and affordable brow soap

For under $5 you can pick up a pears soap from most chemists and supermarkets. At the time of writing Chemist Warehouse was selling this for $2.99! You will also need a spoolie to apply. You may have one already in your makeup kit. Many brow pencils have these attached or just grab one next time you are in the salon. You can also purchase them here.

Instructions:

Wet the spoolie and rub into the soap. You don’t need much and in fact too much may leave a residue which you don’t want. Trust me, the brows will stay locked into position once dry. Sweep the brows up into position and allow to dry. It’s that easy.

Rather book in for a brow lamination? I use a vegan-friendly keratin (cysteamine) system, not a perming solution, which means a beautiful result and softer grow out. Take me there!
